Christmas in Phoenix

I know - pretty, right?? And can I tell you? The weather has been fabulous...

Christmas morning dawned bright - and the kids were all ready for some fun and Presents!


And my sister-in-law and I even threw down with some twister... lol No trips to the ER though thank gawd... There was certainly potential!

And this pic I took of the cousins soon after our arrival... Love it. Edgy rock band?? Check!!

So today I am chilling on the patio reading my book... Soaking up the sun. And just between you and me?? This is a VERY good thing.

Merry Christmas. And here is to a much happier New Year. :) It is time...

Making some Changes...

And doing some bloggy housekeeping that has sooooooo needed to be done.

For. Ever.

When blogrolling lost it's everlovin' mind some time ago - I just ignored it and hoped that it would correct itself (effective, I know) and then it went all viral. So I shrugged and just dumped the whole damn thing. I figured I would eventually take the time and just re code the blogs and bloggers that I *do* keep up with (or would like to) back into the side bar....

Yeah - it's been like a year. Have done bupkus... And I am missing some really great people that *used* to be on my side bar...

So I am going to work on that today. Maybe get off of Face Book (a little)... And see if I cannot rebuild a little teeny corner of myself again...

I have just been busy...

I turned 40, put the house on the market, increased my workload, and have been trying to get into the holiday spirit.

That last one?? That's been a killer.... But I am trying - for sure...

I am certainly ready to kick the door shut on 2010. I just need some Christmas cheer to get me to that point... If it came in pill form I would soooooo take two, and call you in 2011.

But all in all it hasn't been as bad as it could have been... At least that's what I keep reminding myself... And I have still able to laugh at damn near all of it. Thank gawd...

The pics were taken at my Brother's house in Phoenix on my birthday. I had a wonderful long weekend and the sunshine was good for the soul... So good that the girls and I are joining my mother and we will all celebrate Christmas together there... I am pretty sure that I will find my spirit in Phoenix as well... Right next to the saguaro... :)
