Not so Easy in The Big Easy

Man, do I feel sorry for the folks in Katrina's path!

Some family friends of ours have successfully evacuated but my heart breaks for those unable to leave. They are predicting major property losses, but I can't help but think of the pets and livestock left behind.

I do so hope that all of the experts are wrong but it is looking like a "worst case scenario" happening in real time.
